Karoline Leavitt, 24 Year Old Running for Congress, Slams House of Representatives for Voting to Raise Debt Ceiling and Sticking Her Generation With The Bill

Hampton, NH — Karoline Leavitt, 24 year old candidate for Congress in New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District, issued the following statement slamming the House of Representatives for voting to raise the debt ceiling:

“As a member of Generation Z, I am deeply disappointed in Congress’ vote to once again raise the debt ceiling. It’s beyond time to get serious about wasteful spending and address our crippling national debt. My generation cannot continue to foot the bill for pork spending and partisan pet projects for self-serving politicians in Washington, DC. The time is now to send young, conservative fighters to Congress who deserve a seat at the table and will oppose another negligent raise of our nation’s debt ceiling. I am proud to be the only candidate in this race willing to take this position, and I remain steadfast in my commitment to holding the DC swamp accountable."

If elected, Karoline Leavitt would be the youngest Member of Congress ever elected and the first Republican woman from New Hampshire.
